Ring in the New Year with Tim Hartnett and Julie Canepa at Palmer Street
Palmer Street Coffeehouse rings in the New Year with the exciting new Plattsburg duo featuring Tim Hartnett and Julie Canepa on Friday, January 1st. Tim and Julie have built a musical repertoire ranging from roots (Johnny Cash & June Carter, Hank Williams) to indie/alternative (Eddie Vedder, Neko Case, M. Ward). Their original songs explore the important issues of our times, including but not limited to love, dogs and layoffs. Their vocal harmonies are garnering praise and this winter they will be heading to the recording studio.
Tim has been performing since he was a teenager. Singing and playing the guitar and piano have been his passion. He later expanded his instrumental versatility by taking up the electric bass to perform with local groups PureBlue and Zip City Blues Band.
Julie’s stage experience was, until recently, predominately theater-based. Since joining forces with Tim, she has added singing and songwriting to her resume.
Join them for a New Year’s Day performance that promises to be something out of the ordinary.
