Jody Lawson, Coordinator for UUFP Palmer Street Coffeehouse, is pleased to announce that our popular acoustic music venue has received another New York State Council on the Arts, Decentralization Grant for 2010. "We are pleased that our community continues to honor the importance of acoustic music as an art form important to our cultural heritage".

The DEC grant is administered locally by the North Country Cultural Center for the Arts, and is in the amount of $654.50 for the 2010 calendar year. Jody accepted the award from NCCCA Board President, Leigh Mundy and Executive Director, Susan Daul on January 19, at NCCCA's new location in the old federal building on Brinkerhoff Street at an awards ceremony for North Country 2010 recipients .
